The ID Band Company: Wristband Review
I never heard of medical wristband like this until friends of mine told me, you would of think I would of been told this by doctors, the amount times I been in hospital lately from the collapses. So this is very little handy thing for me, and it's waterproof absolute beauty for me, and I can say that is, as I've been wearing it everyday since I got it which has been good couple of weeks now.
Only down side for me which is my fault, I forgot I'm little fatty so I should of ordered medium as I don't have my little wrists any more boo. So it irritates my skin a little, but once I have the right size it be all gravy (for my non UK readers that means it be all good).
When you go on the website of The ID Band Company click here you see they have wide variety of wristbands, bracelets, even watches that can contain important information, and more, so you defiantly not spoilt for choice, they cater for children and adults. So if you somebody who's allergic to nuts for example this could be something for you, or if you have a condition etc. The prices do range, delivery is good.
Side note: Once I do get new camera, whenever that be, I promise you my pictures will improve. Just at the moment it's very difficult to take the quality pics I want, when my current camera is just not doing it, I think my small little baby is slowly dying on me. So I have to use my phone instead.
PS- This item was sent me, but as you can see I am somebody who very much needed this item regardless if it was sent to me or not. 100% my views!

New Adventure. Eve&Jo
I decided to put my ideas finally to paper, and created new little baby of mine.
This is new little comic of mine, I wanted to do a snippet, like the ones you find in newspapers and magazines. It's a simple playful story about 2 fruit ladies Eve and Jo, a strawberry and a pear, what they get up to. Who knows what I do next, but will continue if people want to see it.
Would be great to hear from you, please be gentle with me as I know there is a lot of errors. Do you like Eve&Jo?

Beverley Knight Lipstick
Swatches Top: Blackberry, bottom: Cardinal. If you are curious what's on my nails it's Ultra Voilet by Rimmel Pro collection. |
Blackberry |
Cardinal |
I thought I'll make a change and talk about lipstick. These beauties was pressies from Christmas last year, thank you Mum. I know what you thinking why does the name seem familiar, well that's because it's the singer, songs like 'Shoulda Woulda Coulda' loved that song, 'Come As You Are' if you don't know her, google it.
Never knew Beverley Knight has a cosmetics range, it was delightful surprise, as to be honest I don't know many ethnic cosmetics besides the US brands like Iman etc. So to have a Brit even more better, as it's home turf. The lipsticks is what it says on the tin (that being the little box of course), intense indeed it is. Very moisturising and creamy, vibrant, don't need lip gloss or anything. However I still always use lip balm etc as my skin is generally dry. The longevity of it well let's put it this way been out all day, had dinner and everything still had full lippy on, granted the colour wasn't as vibrant like from the start, but I didn't feel the need to touch up (that sounds wrong but you know what I mean). Would say be careful on how you apply it because you may want to mute the colour depending on your mood or skin tone or how brave you are with colour or the time day/night.
The only sad thing is not sure if this brand still exists, however I know if you look on Amazon click here you'll be able to buy it. Such a shame it never got the attention it deserved.

Oh don't you think Alex's sweater is super cute (oops didn't introduce him properly, dogs name is Alex) I would wear it myself if there was adult size of it, hehe. Alex even has his own twitter and blog, check it out when you get the chance for more cuteness.
Do you have a pet? are you pet person or non one?

Going Back To Art
Hello sorry for lack of posts, I know I am broken record sorry.. Recently I done painting for my Mums birthday, I thought it make a great gift as my Mum always badgers me about me going back to art, I've not painted to this scale since uni days and that was many moons ago. So what better time to paint, my Mum instantly smiled when she opened it and saw it. Took me some time to do it, I forgot how long the process can be, however this is what I am about, once I put on my shirt, as I have particular one, that's it the artist comes out, focused.
The painting is a metamorphosis, reflection of life, metaphor. My Mum loves butterflies she even has a tattoo of one on her arm. So what better way to illustrate it in a painting, demonstrating changes, growth and beauty.
What do you think of the painting? Would you want me to paint for you?
Be gentle with me, I am some what out of practice painting on canvas, so I am tiny bit rusty.
Medium used for this painting: Acrylic

Sorry not blogged for a bit, life has been more tough than usual lately, once again, pause and take deep breath.. Now back to this post, this outfit I wore for day out shopping and cinema. Loughborough is town that holds special part of my heart (not telling you why, that's a secret), it's student town so full of young people, which can make you feel old...
Shopping wise bought couple of bits, cinema saw 'Looper' I won't bore you with my review of it.
And yes those are legs in the background, just your random statues, strutting legs in the park..

Step Back Cardigan (RRP £18)
This is always must in my wardrobe, good trusty cardigan to keep you warm. Good for laying, I always think wrapping warm having a cuppa. Cardigan is like comfy walking blanket, comfort, however still being stylish with this, casual or smart, versatile item.
Oversized Sweater (RRP £35)
Animal print, lets have fun and add a statement, bringing instant jazz to an outfit. The great thing about prints like this, it hides our flaws, distracts you from our lumps and bumps. I think everyone should own one piece of animal print, or hint of it, vibrant fun piece. Oversized so even on our fat days or you know the time of the month we can still rock it.
Navy Metallic Yarn Knit Tights (RRP £10)
Tights allows us to still wear shorts, skirts and dresses in the colder weather. Whether its to add pop of colour, pattern or just to keep your pins warm. No need to stop wearing your favourite garments with these bad boys.
Stud Biker Ankle Boots (RRP £85)
Boots, study, fit for the weather. Keep your feet warm in good solid boots, but still adding element of edginess with the studs, tinge of grudge. Perfect to wear with variety of outfits.
Green Contrast Stitch Large Bag (RRP £35)
Handbag handbag how I love you so. What's great about this bag you have two ways carrying it, long strap which for me I love, as I walk with a crutch it can be kind of annoying when the bag keeps slipping off my shoulder, and holding it by hand isn't always practical for me. So long strap is brillant for me, and if your uber stylish can just simply hold by hand. The great thing about this colour bag you can wear it with anything. Also can store all the junk and madness us ladies carry. Beautiful interior inside the bag which for me is bonus.
Those were my key pieces, hope you like the selection.
I shall keep my finger and toes cross, it be amazing to win.
Are any of these pieces, your key pieces this AW12?

Just Be Silly
So often we are bombarded with perfect pictures, perfect poses, perfect air brush. But what about fun images, silly poses, silly expressions. That's why it's great we can post goofy pictures on different social platforms. Have fun, chill out a little, not saying act like a child and be silly that way, sometimes it nice seeing people just let their hair down. Let your inner Loopy out ;) just don't go crazy with it, don't want you in hospital or in prison for letting out the wild dangerous side of you- no no no.
Do you ever post silly/goofy pics of yourself, or find it refreshing when you see not so perfect images?
PS- If you on Instagram, I've finally joined recently my username is loopysos (follow me if you like), I regularly post pics.

Travelling Cute
A couple of weeks ago when we got that sudden heat wave at the weekend, I took full advantage and embraced what I could do not what I can't do. As you may know my passion is art, and capturing art in photos. I took myself to one of my local parks, soaked up my surroundings and began to draw.
My Hello Kitty mini travel case made excellent holder for my little sketchbooks, pencils etc. Which by the way came in set small, medium and large cases (received as Christmas present last year- Hello Kitty suitcases). Needless to say I got a few dodgy looks from strangers but I didn't care I embrace who I am, and what I like, there isn't age restriction on all things cute, just because we adults don't mean you stop being fun.
However one stranger thought I had cupcakes in it, because of the pics on the case I suppose, I thought to myself I wish it did, would of made perfect picnic. Once again I've managed to ramble, as always.. But you get my drift travel the style you want to.
Do you have quirky/colourful/sparkly/frilly bag, suitcase, or Ipad/Kindle/laptop case?

Dear Open Diary
In these last couple of months life has thrown me back and not in good way. I had plans on doing certain things however couldn't due to my unpredictable health. Even now I find myself feeling left out as I just don't have the energy and I still have underlining health issues that seems to be still a mystery besides my fibro etc obviously. I even find myself more awkward as I feel like I don't have much to contribute to a conversation. Might not be going on holiday every minute heck not been on one for years now, or go to festivals/gigs etc.. However I have good heart and like to think I'm there if you need me.
The point is as upsetting as it is to miss out on social gatherings (friends/bloggers meet up/events) it's something out of my hands, but I will say this don't forget sick people like to have fun too you know. I won't lie I do find myself getting upset, just simple thing like a hug would of helped me somewhat but you know just get on with it.
Reason I picked this photo is because the sky is something I always look at, spend periods of time just looking at the sky, also I felt content when I took this picture, snapshot of a memory I like to look back on. Oh by the way this picture hasn't been photoshopped or anything, naturally turned out like this, beautiful isn't it.
Sorry if there wasn't a beginning, middle and an end properly, and that's all other the place, I am bit of a scatter brain, however I just wanted to express myself hence the title dear open diary, as I am sharing with you. How many others feel the same? or perhaps you always working so you miss out on things? Or you live to far from everything and can't get to places.....
Would love to hear from others/you, and if you offering a hug I'll take it, much appreciated ;)

Mallzee, Social Shopping.
I know you must be wondering what is this, you may of already heard about it in the blogging world, well I was super excited for one that a company actually contacted me, which is nice. When I was told about this concept it certainly intrigued me. Now onto what this website is actually about.
This is what they said:
'To add a new social aspect users can then invite their friends to ‘visit’ their Mallzee through the use of Facebook chat. Friends can then discuss product choices and star items they think their friends will love and purchase from the mall themselves with great discounts negotiated by us. If your still unable to decided on a purchase you can also create polls to ask your friends opinions before you buy. An added bonus to inviting friends to your mallzee is that as the ‘owner’ you earn money every time anyone buys from your Mallzee! (That's right you get paid when you or your friends shop?)
Currently we have over 200 brands signed up to Mallzee (Urban Outfitters, New Look, Feel Unique and St. Tropez to name a few). We're really keen to get the word out about Mallzee and get future users excited about the concept before we launch later this year. With this in mind people can register now for a launch invite at Mallzee.com and if they spread the word on Facebook or Twitter we will also enter them into a prize for £100/$155 of shopping vouchers and some other goodies.'Social shopping online, the website will be launching soon (in the next couple of months), sorry I cannot give the exact date as I do not know. But I am looking forward to when it's up and running, to have a nosey. Also when you sign up, you be entered into competition, a chance to win £100/$155.
Here are Mallzee Links- website, facebook, twitter.
What do you think about it, tell me you're thoughts?

Day Trip To The Beach - Great Yarmouth
Couple of weeks ago had family day out at to the beach, it's our little tradition for the last couple of years we've been going to Great Yarmouth, sadly I've not always attended. This year it was so hot which is rare as it's been warm yes, raining stormy weather but not hot like this all day long, superb weather.
Great Yarmouth is sand and pebble beach, with still the old skool feel to it which I love. Everybody just enjoying themselves, friendly family environment, it was great day out, I even got to dip my feet in the water with some assistance (help), I did get bit wobbly towards the end as by then I was exhausted but glad I got to enjoy myself nonetheless.
Do you have tradition with family/friends/partners a place (location) you go to every year? I would love to hear.

Note Book Note Book How You Excite Me
Yes those are my drawings, rough sketches. |
There is no better things than stationary and Hello Kitty well there is, but for now it's this. I've finally joined the Moleskin club after hearing such good things and me being notebook/journal/sketchbook person it was silly how I don't own one, I am thoroughly enjoying using mine, we shall see how it goes, and I don't need to talk about the second notebook that is shown in the photos, self explanatory.
I am somebody who has several on the go (notebook/sketchbooks), it excites me every time I buy or receive one, yes simple things excites me. Luckily both these was gifts from two separate loved ones. Broken record time again, sorry about the quality the light kept coming and going, also I couldn't find my camera, I can be dopey at times, forgive me.
Any notebook junkies out there like me, do you currently use one or is your phone/ipad/etc you're notebook?

The Beauty Of Nature
As a treat and birthday present my sister took me to lovely peaceful place (area) called Grafham Water in Cambridgeshire, finally getting round to blogging about it. I am someone who loves parks/country parks, lakes and beaches something so tranquil about them, instantly calms me and relaxes me. My sister knew instantly this would be perfect for me to get my camera out and take some great photos. This was well needed specially as been cooped up since collapsing, the fresh air never felt so good.
Are you the same, do you like places like this?
