Dulwich Picture Gallery
This shouldn't be any surprise, if you follow my blog or social media or just know me in general, is that art is big part of my life. I love looking at art, studying and of course creating art. It's not just about pretty paintings, but culture, history and the present. I could ramble on ages about this, however this blog post is about admiring art displayed in Dulwich Picture Gallery, yes there is galleries in South London not all in Central or East London that some people may think. Also big thing for me, supply wheelchairs at the gallery, which is major plus for me, found the staff to be very helpful, once again makes the visit all that more pleasant. Just being in the presence of such fine art, listening to the curator as she explained the background to the paintings, just hearing the enthusiasm passion behind her speeches made me want to listen even more.
The pure detail in each of the painting, I did have my favourites I must say, which couple can be seen in my pics above, but not all sadly, for me this visit was about soaking up the art not trying to take the best photos. However did buy postcards of my favourite paintings, was a bit sad ok was stroppy couldn't find all of them which happened to be my number one out the selection, always the way.
Overall lovely little visit, also can walk around on their grounds, soak up the outdoors, have cool cafe sadly didn't get to sample any food or drink. The gallery situated in beautiful Dulwich Village, somewhere I would love to live if I was rich.
Do you visit art galleries? what galleries do you like, if you do?

Again!!!!!
You must be wondering what again, what's this again about well might of notice been bit quiet recently on all my social networks. Well once again got rushed to hospital, was out with my carer somewhere, and at the end of it I had several seizures thankfully lot of first aid people around me to help. They called for ambulance my carer travelled with me. A lot of it being a blur once again.
They put me on drip and had to be admitted into hospital. Whilst in hospital boredom striked as had no phone charger, plus was so exhausted just in a haze. However did doodle when finally got tiny bit of energy. These are some I done.
I am back at home now, just resting still somewhat drained which is to be expected. But I thought I pop in so you don't forget about me.

Supporting The Arts With A Positive Message
When I was approached about this exhibition from a friend of a friend, instantly had my attention, we all know I like me bit of art. All the artist's have Down Syndrome showcasing paintings to photography, spreading awareness of Down Syndrome. Which will be held at Menier Gallery, London. Between 17th March to 22nd March. This is one of the many reasons why I love art anyone with a passion can do it, disabilities illnesses doesn't stop you being great artist.
If you have the opportunity take a look when it's open, if you want to know more check out their website click here. Has all the artists on there, and the story behind this exhibition, worth checking out. If I had transport and my health is steady I would defiantly be in attendance.
Please show it some love, good cause. x

Being You
Being you, with so many blogs out there it's hard to stand out, with fancy blog headers etc. Great big quality pictures, not everybody does have Canon or Nikon, MacBook to edit their work, but that's alright it's about passion in your work, using the tools you do have. This is why I love art because you can use any material and create masterpiece. No limitations, freedom to pour out your emotions.
Being you and not living to others expectations or copying somebody else just to get popular, it's about being you, or finding you as some people are lost just trying to find their way, hold my hands up many times I feel lost, just like the tattoo on my wrist- journey. Life journey.
Can you relate? And just thoughts in general.
PS- No I am not dissing anyone who does have those items, before anybody thinks I am attacking those with canons Nikon MacBooks etc.

Me....
Before you go oh this drawing is not perfect, I like the imperfections. Sometimes the errors can be the beauty of the picture. Not saying it just because... Not being afraid to put yourself out there in less perfect light. This is me sharing doodle of mine, however there is deeper meaning to this drawing.
Share your thoughts in the comments, love to hear your views.

Doodle Art
Random drawing I done today just casually let my creativity let loose, as I was taking break from doing mundane stuff and in between that break I came up with this. The drawing is actually upside down here, but I thought it looks better this way. I will leave this open to interpretation, what do you see? please feel free to discuss (no right or wrong answer). Hope you don't mind me sharing this with you.x

Going Back To Art
Hello sorry for lack of posts, I know I am broken record sorry.. Recently I done painting for my Mums birthday, I thought it make a great gift as my Mum always badgers me about me going back to art, I've not painted to this scale since uni days and that was many moons ago. So what better time to paint, my Mum instantly smiled when she opened it and saw it. Took me some time to do it, I forgot how long the process can be, however this is what I am about, once I put on my shirt, as I have particular one, that's it the artist comes out, focused.
The painting is a metamorphosis, reflection of life, metaphor. My Mum loves butterflies she even has a tattoo of one on her arm. So what better way to illustrate it in a painting, demonstrating changes, growth and beauty.
What do you think of the painting? Would you want me to paint for you?
Be gentle with me, I am some what out of practice painting on canvas, so I am tiny bit rusty.
Medium used for this painting: Acrylic

A Little Bit Of Me
Sometimes holidays (bank holidays) can be tough, if you alone. However it can give you down time to think about things, evaluate and get to know yourself a little more. So often people get caught up in being busy all the time, they forget to sit down and just ponder.
This is my outlet....
This is my outlet....
I draw, I paint, I write....
Couple of people have suggested I share my art with you, so finally I am, baby steps, one step at a time.
One final thing, I will leave you to interpret my picture, I am very interested in your thoughts, don't be scared to tell, open to discussion.
PS- I changed my banner, did you notice, all done by my hands no fancy tech, what do you think?

Back To Basics
Sorry no photoshop, no fonts, just me, I am somebody who is old skool, granted I think they are great. However I am an artist (use that word loosely) who likes to go back to basics. See my flaws and all. Still haven't got any interest in my previous blog post, please do not hesitate to contact me (leaving a comment etc) as the offer is still there.
xx
