Dear Open Diary

In these last couple of months life has thrown me back and not in good way. I had plans on doing certain things however couldn't due to my unpredictable health. Even now I find myself feeling left out as I just don't have the energy and I still have underlining health issues that seems to be still a mystery besides my fibro etc obviously. I even find myself more awkward as I feel like I don't have much to contribute to a conversation. Might not be going on holiday every minute heck not been on one for years now, or go to festivals/gigs etc.. However I have good heart and like to think I'm there if you need me.

The point is as upsetting as it is to miss out on social gatherings (friends/bloggers meet up/events) it's something out of my hands, but I will say this don't forget sick people like to have fun too you know. I won't lie I do find myself getting upset, just simple thing like a hug would of helped me somewhat but you know just get on with it.

Reason I picked this photo is because the sky is something I always look at, spend periods of time just looking at the sky, also I felt content when I took this picture, snapshot of a memory I like to look back on. Oh by the way this picture hasn't been photoshopped or anything, naturally turned out like this, beautiful isn't it.

Sorry if there wasn't a beginning, middle and an end properly, and that's all other the place, I am bit of a scatter brain, however I just wanted to express myself hence the title dear open diary, as I am sharing with you. How many others feel the same? or perhaps you always working so you miss out on things? Or you live to far from everything and can't get to places.....

Would love to hear from others/you, and if you offering a hug I'll take it, much appreciated ;)

Mallzee, Social Shopping.

I know you must be wondering what is this, you may of already heard about it in the blogging world, well I was super excited for one that a company actually contacted me, which is nice. When I was told about this concept it certainly intrigued me. Now onto what this website is actually about.

This is what they said:

'To add a new social aspect users can then invite their friends to ‘visit’ their Mallzee through the use of Facebook chat.  Friends can then discuss product choices and star items they think their friends will love and purchase from the mall themselves with great discounts negotiated by us. If your still unable to decided on a purchase you can also create polls to ask your friends opinions before you buy.  An added bonus to inviting friends to your mallzee is that as the ‘owner’ you earn money every time anyone buys from your Mallzee! (That's right you get paid when you or your friends shop?)
Currently we have over 200 brands signed up to Mallzee (Urban Outfitters, New Look, Feel Unique and St. Tropez to name a few).  We're really keen to get the word out about Mallzee and get future users excited about the concept before we launch later this year. With this in mind people can register now for a launch invite at Mallzee.com and if they spread the word on Facebook or Twitter we will also enter them into a prize for £100/$155 of shopping vouchers and some other goodies.'
Social shopping online, the website will be launching soon (in the next couple of months), sorry I cannot give the exact date as I do not know. But I am looking forward to when it's up and running, to have a nosey. Also   when you sign up, you be entered into competition, a chance to win £100/$155.

Here are Mallzee Links- website,  facebook,  twitter.

What do you think about it, tell me you're thoughts?

Aussie UK Hair Fashion Show (Event)

Last minute thing, I was on twitter and saw Faye tweet about a plus one for the Aussie Event. I jumped in and said me me, mind you it was risky for me as I didn't know if I be able to cope, as I been out previous days, me being stubborn and wanted to do everything I went. Needless to say I crashed out as soon as I got home after the event, pj's bed nap...

I am somebody who has been using their products recently, so it was great to go this event and check it out.
Lots of nibbles, drinks and lovely cupcakes was all displayed nicely, yes I did go over the top with the cupcakes, ate fair amount oops, they was to yummy...

Me, Lydia and her friend. Girl Crush on both these ladies GORGEOUS

Jo walking off with the blow up version of the Aussie bottle, hehe, can't take her anywhere!!!

I do like the fishtail braid hairstyle, that hairstyle is winner for me, not that I have sported that look on myself yet.  Overall it was great meeting bloggers, seeing the fashion show, being Faye's plus one, seeing her again, hanging out with my friends Amber and Jo.  Also putting a face to the blog's that I follow. Getting the chance to say hello. Meeting new bloggers, having girl crush on Lydia. It was cool atmosphere. Glad I went.

Good Day Mate (Part 2)

When Jo invited me around hers for Aussie Indoor BBQ, never did I imagine there be so much food cooked by her partner, who just so happens to be chef, lucky lady, flatmates who are also Australian, plus friends of theirs were there too, so I couldn't help myself in learning some Aussie slang and words they use in different ways from us Brits. Also me trying to do the accent, deary me Lucy....

Feast... Food Glorious Food

Massive Aussie Burger, can't tell by this picture.
Couldn't fit all the food into one picture, as there was more, however I was just to busy being overwhelmed by it all. Yes I ate the whole burger. After eating, chilled watched some Take Me Out together, it was fab. I felt welcomed, they are funny and it was nice vibe.

On my way home, listening to my music, headphones on, in my own little world, super tired at this point, as it's late. Erm some random guy starts chatting to me, trying to chat me up, needless to say he didn't get my number, however he was nice to chat to in friend way not in any other way, as I am taken, even if I wasn't, still be a no no. Told Jo about it, when I got home, had a giggle about it before retiring to the land of zzzzz.

Good Day Mate (Part One)

Jo and I met up for long over due catch up. Spot of shopping but mostly window shopping, took me to some cool shops, that I instantly fell in love with.

I want to buy food from here if I could. Blame Jo haha.

Yummy food, cooking lessons and cooking utensils.
Then it was time for lunch, belly rumbling the both of us. So food and cocktail it was. Both chatting away, as we quite similar in many ways, we discovered.

Where we ate.

Cocktail was quite a kick. Little snippet of the gorgeous Jo. My Aussie Wifey.

Shared dish.

Mmmm Dessert
Yes there is water, we still responsible adults. Just as I thought the day was done, received an Aussie Indoor BBQ invite by the lovely Jo at hers, so the fun continues in part two. Where I learn some Aussie slang words by Jo's flatmates, me trying to do the accent, which in it's self was funny if I do say so myself. So stay tuned.
To Be Continued.....

#zomgbloggersbash Event

Better late than never finally, will apologise in advance by the lack of photo's, I did take pictures however either deleted them by accident or just didn't like them, so not posted them, bad blogger I know..

The venue-  The Distillers (nice bar)

Beautiful Miss Branberry Cross

Loved the burlesque acts that performed Miss Rubyyy Jones and Miss Branberry Cross omg I loved it, first time seeing burlesque in the flesh, made me want to see another even more, as it's something I've always wanted to see, but never have followed through. So for sure it's on my to do list now, go watch a show.

Amazing ladies ReeRee Rocket- http://www.rockalily.com/
That hosted this event, and worked their bums off, great turn out, I was thankful for the invite, and I do have my eye on Rockily Roulette Red Lipstick, on my wish list. Met some lovely ladies. Was introduced more into the vintage fashion, which I must say ladies looked HOT!!!

Lot's of things was happening, had little stands, crafts table, bingo. It was very busy, it over whelmed me how many people was there, I hardly if ever go out to social events, so for me I was taken back, with my illness it's limited me, so I was glad I could actually attend, my first ever evening event travelling on my own since being ill 5+ years, so seriously for me it was emotional growth, as well as physical thing. Even writing this has made me cry because I never thought I would get to this point, so long I've been stuck, half the time in hospital. So it's journey, one that shall continue.....

PS- fingers cross I get to go to more events (if I do ever get invited lol)

Boo Who!

Sorry pre warn you this isn't a sunny fashion happy go lucky blog post. My moods are more erratic due to my stupid stubbornness of not getting one of my medication that ran out, that's long story, and no it isn't the ones that treat my manic depression. And due to personal things why I am a bit odd lately. Plus of course living with fibromyalgia just the invisible best friend that I don't want..

Seeing events on my time line (twitter), group meetings, I feel so removed from social things. Never knew needing rest so much would be part of my every day schedule. I just need to have little moan, don't worry I be back to Loopy again, just right now feeling a bit more sensitive. Any body wanna take me out? (none sexual way haha).

#ldnxmasbloggermeet Up

The Blogger's all together.
Look how stylish all these ladies are.
Emma (one half of the master minds behind it all) and me, happy to be there.
I was originally going to do video about this, however I have been to poorly or been to busy to do so.

I was invited, yes me, actually invited somewhere, as I never ever get invites like this to be honest. Felt privileged and very welcomed. The two ladies who were the master's behind this event was Emma and Laura, both great wonderful women.

Arriving late, as the Victoria line was closed grrr, and the fact I left in good time, still managed to have disaster of a trip. Got to my destination, lovely restaurant/bar called- The Warwick in Central London. Sarah from Lush was there to talk about some great new ranges, never been one to shop at Lush if I am being honest, however it opened my eyes and I learnt more about Lush.

The amazing Anne- Maggie Angus, spoke about her jewellery shop, how it begun, background information/history. I found this fantastic, inspirational, and admire her success. If you don't know Maggie Angus trust me you have seen the jewellery somewhere about.

Maggie Angus Jewellery

The lovely lady herself Anna- Maggie Angus answering questions.

Then the very nervous, bless her cotton socks Faye from Wired Jewellery. Law student by day, jewellery maker by night. Told us how she got started, and her passion for it, the business aspect of it etc. Once again open to questions, another great person that you could learn from.

Thank you so much Emma and Laura for this event, the invite and everything. It was my 1st ever blogger event, I am so happy I attended, as I have met some great people from this.

PS- This was my 1st time ever going to social event, ON MY OWN, to Central London since being ill, 5+ years. So well done me, milestone.xx

The goody bags. Ladies having good old chat.
What's inside will be in separate post.
