Advent Calender Time. His and Hers

It's that time of the year when you allowed to indulge throughout the month, not feel guilty about it, mind you I am in not that bracket of oh no too much calories type of girl, as I say everything in moderation, minus this month it's the time to be jolly. We decided on cheap cheerful advent calenders from Poundland, as sadly left it too late on Lego one we really wanted, sold out everywhere, sad face, lets not talk about it, I'm not bitter..

Of course Hello Kitty advent calender for me, it's me after all, and for him Star Wars as his huge fan of it. Funny enough my chocolate tastes better than his, perhaps needs sweetness for the kids, Star Wars more catered for adults, therefore more stale taste to it, I do find it funny identical doors and shapes of chocolate yet different tastes between the two of the advent calenders.

I must say beauty advent calenders seen on blogs, sadly not in my price range but I enjoy it from afar live through the bloggers as do like seeing what's behind each door, have you done advent calender post, send me links in the comment section, love to see yours.

Birthday Weekend

So I have turn 21 again or is it 25, well I've aged... Weekend just gone celebrated my birthday, fell on a Sunday (20/07/2014). Ate plenty of cake, cupcakes and surprised I've not turned into a cake yet. Had nice chilled weekend with great company.

Hello all, this is kind of fitting at the moment, it being fashion week, but I actually intended to blog this sooner however once again was rushed to hospital last week, collapse when I went to corner shop, bless 3 guys came to my rescue the paramedics told me. Anyway suffered with concussion, with the added joys of tonsillitis and a cold at the time. But as I can breathe, have my voice back, slowly back to my usual ill self. 

What do you think of my bird shirt, do you love it as much as me? 

I love the colour of my jeans also has smooth touch, can't resist touching my legs like a loon. Right well enough of me babbling on, hope you have lovely weekend, and to my UK peeps stay safe, crazy floods Gale force winds. Prayers to those who are effected.x

These nails make me want to go out somewhere special, show them off. However I will enjoy them in comfort of my home. As I am not going out why not blog post it, at least still get to show them off.

Hello Kitty Nail Polish

Two things I love Hello Kitty and nail polish so had to do blog post about it, wouldn't be me otherwise haha. The packaging is beyond cute, so without even using it looks great sitting there. Applying application you will need couple of coats, as it's quite streaky. Sadly it did chip quite quickly, within less than a day, so wasn't impressed. However in different colour/shade it lasted longer so not sure why that was, although I've not tried meltdown without a base coat so will see if it makes a difference. This colour ties in perfectly for the spring and summer time.

At affordable prices, I bought this from the Hello Kitty range (collection) from Superdrug (major drugstore chain in the UK, for my overseas readers).

Travelling Cute

A couple of weeks ago when we got that sudden heat wave at the weekend, I took full advantage and embraced what I could do not what I can't do. As you may know my passion is art, and capturing art in photos. I took myself to one of my local parks, soaked up my surroundings and began to draw.

My Hello Kitty mini travel case made excellent holder for my little sketchbooks, pencils etc. Which by the way came in set small, medium and large cases (received as Christmas present last year- Hello Kitty suitcases). Needless to say I got a few dodgy looks from strangers but I didn't care I embrace who I am, and what I like, there isn't age restriction on all things cute, just because we adults don't mean you stop being fun.

However one stranger thought I had cupcakes in it, because of the pics on the case I suppose, I thought to myself I wish it did, would of made perfect picnic. Once again I've managed to ramble, as always.. But you get my drift travel the style you want to.

Note Book Note Book How You Excite Me

There is no better things than stationary and Hello Kitty well there is, but for now it's this. I've finally joined the Moleskin club after hearing such good things and me being notebook/journal/sketchbook person it was silly how I don't own one, I am thoroughly enjoying using mine, we shall see how it goes, and I don't need to talk about the second notebook that is shown in the photos, self explanatory.

I am somebody who has several on the go (notebook/sketchbooks), it excites me every time I buy or receive one, yes simple things excites me. Luckily both these was gifts from two separate loved ones. Broken record time again, sorry about the quality the light kept coming and going, also I couldn't find my camera, I can be dopey at times, forgive me.

Any notebook junkies out there like me, do you currently use one or is your phone/ipad/etc you're notebook?

99p Store Shocked Me

Was in town, whilst getting things that was on my To Get List, thought I go in 99p store to buy some batteries, however I ended coming out of the store with a bag of goodies oops...

Currently on my nails- Sally Hansen, Rose Wine.

My eyes saw Hello Kitty, and you all know how I love it so. Couldn't resist buying a couple of things, would of been to rude to turn kitty down, no no no. Bought kids size cup, it's tiny but yes I do drink tea out of it, there was no adult size one, so that's that. A travel toothbrush which strangely my niece actually has and she's like 4, well what can I say I've never grown up and I don't attend to when it comes to Hello Kitty (it's all ages anyway). Notepad, sharpener & eraser that came in little pack, stationery is like candy to me, excites me to no end. 

In the beauty section is where I bought the nail varnishes, Revlon Ruby Ribbon, Matte Suede (I notice bargains stores selling these items more these days). And Sally Hansen Rose Wine, which you can see above in the pic is what I am sporting now. Had to share it with you all, as I didn't know they even sold that kind of stuff with the Hello Kitty items- Bargain!!!!

This was the outfit I wore on a day trip to the Natural History Museum, which will be in separate blog post about the day etc. But I wanted to show my outfit, as I love this look, casual but fun. Needless to say I love love love my T-shirt, and shock horror I am wearing something floral so not me, but I love them, it was only £3 from Primark, recent purchase, bargain.

Ho Ho Advent Calender Time

So here it is, time to be jolly, indulge yourself. The freedom to actually eat chocolate every day, an actual reason, ok perhaps more of an excuse, but lets go with the first one. Background story, what led me to this advent calender, minding my own business, shopping in supermarket to buy couple of bits. HK And Me

Hello Kitty and me, buddies till the end. Sleeps in my bed, oh yes it does. It's my snuggle buddy when I'm feeling really ill, and oh worries me feelings haha. Of course decor for my bed to. Also have another teddy, but Fraser is unavailable at the moment, having a snooze. I am aware I sound like loony tune, grown woman in her 20's talking about teddies, hey just because I am adult doesn't mean you have to lose your inner child.
