I Hate Goodbyes

How or where do I begin no words can describe, my role model, my friend, my confidant, true inspirational caring person to me and many others. I called him Grandpa as he stepped in the role, a Grandpa I never had, a treasure to me. Finding out he passed away my heart instantly sank, he always knew just what to say, truly miss him. Less than 24 hours another death, don't want to go into details about it as I prefer not to. Also dear friend of mine looks like a relative of his is going to pass away. So A week of death.

Thankfully through support of the people in my little circle, get me through this and prayer.

Found somewhere that fit me like a glove, somewhere that mixes creativity with food and drink. Art studio spaces, live music, chill, laid back feel, but still motivating as you can just get on with work. Their coffee is good, strong boost. What I love it is independent business, so already had my thumbs up, as we tend get caught up in big franchises, not that there is a problem, but it's great to explore.

Going there made me want to just get my sketchbook out, my creativity juices was bubbling which don't happen often, so I took that as a sign, still have the artist in me, I know cliché, but when you going through tough health times it's nice to feel that spark. Would be awesome to exhibit, I think it would reunite my love passion truly and confidence.

Back to Matthews Yard I've yet to sample their food, but the foodie I am sure when I can I will, no doubt share with you, not the food it's self I'm afraid sorry, also want to go to live gigs that they have there, so we shall see. If you in the area of Croydon, or not to far worth checking out.

Hello Kitty Nail Polish

Two things I love Hello Kitty and nail polish so had to do blog post about it, wouldn't be me otherwise haha. The packaging is beyond cute, so without even using it looks great sitting there. Applying application you will need couple of coats, as it's quite streaky. Sadly it did chip quite quickly, within less than a day, so wasn't impressed. However in different colour/shade it lasted longer so not sure why that was, although I've not tried meltdown without a base coat so will see if it makes a difference. This colour ties in perfectly for the spring and summer time.

At affordable prices, I bought this from the Hello Kitty range (collection) from Superdrug (major drugstore chain in the UK, for my overseas readers).

Admitted Into Hospital Via A&E (Accident And Emergency for my non Brits readers)

I apologise in advance if you find these pictures disturbing however it's reality my reality.

Yes I look a mess, last thing I was worried about was make up and my hair in the midst of passing out, collapsing, can't even remember calling the ambulance, the paramedics packed my phone, some meds and door keys, locked my door for me. So I was in A&E on Wednesday afternoon 20th March 2013 didn't think nothing of it, even right up until eve/night time thought yeah going home even though I was in critical state, I could barely talk. Doctor said I think you should stay over night to monitor me, got moved to short stay bit can't remember the name as things was just haze for me, whilst there I took a turn oxygen mask on again needles monitors doctors nurses rushing around me, so by this point you may of guessed it I am not going anywhere I am staying here now. I got transferred to a ward and that became my home, all the while still thinking oh I am going home today, doctors was like Er no Lucy, really wasn't well, I even had to be glued to my bed for one whole day couldn't leave it trust me I tried it but the nurse came rushing over like get back in that bed, put the bars up so it restricted me. It amazed me how nurses showed concern stroking my hand telling me it be OK, even doctor held my hand, which is rare these days.

Cannot thank enough nurses/health care assistants work their butt off, long hours, give my hats off to them, was always good having bit of banter with them. I was prodded everywhere, needle pricked pretty much everywhere both arms and hands, back and stomach.. Tests... 7 days later I got discharged Wednesday 27th March 2013 Night time yes night time, don't ask. 

Won't bore you with details as I have rambled enough, yes Fibromyalgia flare up, severe migraine however I have other health problems which is still under investigation, I know I have been vague but if you have any questions please feel free to ask. I hope whomever is reading this is ok, if you not you can get cyber hug from me if that helps, doubt it but it's the thought that counts ;) xx

Meg Rivers Artisan Bakery My Love Continues

Very late posting this, rest assured the cakes got devoured way before the date on the label. Cute little brownie hearts was my valentines gift, needless to say I had precious moment with my cake, I bet you thought I was going to say with my boyfriend ha ha.. The brownie and I had dates together, quality time. I am fully aware I am talking about food but I thought I spread my Loopy to you, personality not my lady part Loopy, Er no.

Back to the brownies, they are soft with bit of crunch to it. Tasty not overly sweet how other brownies can be, like that sickly sweetness. So my love continues for this bakery, if I lived near the bakery (cafe) itself or was on holiday near the area, I would defiantly visit.
