Seeing London Through Somebody Else's Eyes

Westminster
English weather always forever changing.
Thames
Taking in the sights.
Having sit down break, soaking up the atmosphere.
Trafalgar Square, setting up The Chinese New Year Celebrations.
China Town
I had special friend who came to visit, doesn't live in London, we went tracking around some of London, I was the tour guide haha.
So many times as a Londoner I ignore the beauty of the city, it was great seeing London in somebody else's eyes, seeing the excitement, the enjoyment, made me have new appreciation of the city I live in. We take it for granted the history we have, all the multi cultures in one place. Hope you like the few pictures I took from the day. Needless to say I was super exhausted afterwards, however it was great day.

Temporary:Secretary Jewellery Happiness

The Christmas just gone 2011, I bought my Mum lucky dip, goodie bag from Temporary:Secretary , which contained variety of jewellery. Yes I am fully aware this is super late, however if you follow my blog you would know I didn't have laptop for some time, then I thought I lost the pictures, couldn't find them, had like mini heart attack (dramatic I know) found them under a folder that I renamed and forgotten like donut, please tell me I am not the only one to do that?!

So finally here it is: Drum roll please!!!

Gold Doily Heart Necklace (I preferred this version to the original I took).
Star Earrings (done it in this effect, to make the earrings pop more).
Bird Necklace
Lady Bird Brooch (out of focus me sorry)
Bracelet And Ring Combo
Close up on the ring, and Mum's beautiful manicure.
Mum's idea, take pic of the variety of Temporary:Secretary jewellery together.

Mother (not wearing Temporary:Secretary tut tut)

Mum Review: Oh Lucy I do love it, very me. Pieces that you can wear with anything, for different occasions. Will be sporting the rings when it's gets warmer, as it's super cold and the gloves get in the way an everything. When I go out, always get compliments about it, where it's from etc. Definitely thumbs up from the mother.

Now I need me some Temporary:Secretary items, so not cool when you mum is beating you in the trendy department haha.

#zomgbloggersbash Event

Better late than never finally, will apologise in advance by the lack of photo's, I did take pictures however either deleted them by accident or just didn't like them, so not posted them, bad blogger I know..

The venue-  The Distillers (nice bar)

Beautiful Miss Branberry Cross

Loved the burlesque acts that performed Miss Rubyyy Jones and Miss Branberry Cross omg I loved it, first time seeing burlesque in the flesh, made me want to see another even more, as it's something I've always wanted to see, but never have followed through. So for sure it's on my to do list now, go watch a show.

Amazing ladies ReeRee Rocket- http://www.rockalily.com/
That hosted this event, and worked their bums off, great turn out, I was thankful for the invite, and I do have my eye on Rockily Roulette Red Lipstick, on my wish list. Met some lovely ladies. Was introduced more into the vintage fashion, which I must say ladies looked HOT!!!

Lot's of things was happening, had little stands, crafts table, bingo. It was very busy, it over whelmed me how many people was there, I hardly if ever go out to social events, so for me I was taken back, with my illness it's limited me, so I was glad I could actually attend, my first ever evening event travelling on my own since being ill 5+ years, so seriously for me it was emotional growth, as well as physical thing. Even writing this has made me cry because I never thought I would get to this point, so long I've been stuck, half the time in hospital. So it's journey, one that shall continue.....

PS- fingers cross I get to go to more events (if I do ever get invited lol)
