The Body Shop Meet Lily Cole Event

I was lucky to be plus one to this event, thank you Jo. Entering the place was instantly greeted, helpful and tended to. The room smelled full of  lovely aroma's, just like when you enter Body Shop's on the high street. We was offered mixture of fresh juice or wine. Massages which I took full of advantage of, had to be done, oh I loved it. Make overs, got some tips from the MUA, even got top up on my lips, lip gloss from Lily Cole's new range, what I liked about it, wasn't sticky/gloppy, smells delicious, and makes me want one now...

Got to hear about the history, background information, all the charity work that they do, and their staff does. What goes into The Body Shop, how certain products are made. Very insightful talk, it actually gave me new found respect for this company, I've grown up using this brand here and there, knowing the basic info. Lily Cole gave her talk, she's such amazing person, all the work she does for charities, it was pleasure to meet her, have a one to one talk. Over all great event.

Fibro Fun Day Event

Raising Awareness, so many people have it, yet hardly anybody has ever heard of it/about it. The event took place in beautiful gorgeous building, historic and simple was perfect. So blessed that we had wonderful weather considering lately all it's done has rained. Best believe we enjoyed the sun immensely.

Kingswood House, London.

Had variety of different activities, things for the kids bouncy castle, face painting, arts&crafts, football and more.. Food wise you had fruit, cakes- cupcakes, cookies, popcorn, candy, and Caribbean food on offer. Handmade jewellery that was sold, which I bought couple, that will be in separate post, as I will be doing a giveaway, coming very soon, oh yes bought extra for my readers, toys, books, and other accessories. Dance act performances which were all good. Raffle. Advice for sufferers.

There was a support group which I found the most beneficial, actually meeting others face to face who has fibromyalgia, we all could relate to one another, so refreshing and touching hearing about each others experiences. Learning about techniques on how to soothe the body. Then there was relaxation class, which was just what the doctor ordered. Having chit chat with others. Sense of community, which I loved. Even helped give insight (a snippet) to our friends/families on what we go through on daily basis. I know it educated Jo who was my partner for the day hehe (my friend that came along with me). We both enjoyed the day, so glad  attended, met some lovely people. Everybody who was involved  working for this cause and shall continue too should feel proud, thank you, insert smiley face, as even those myself included who wasn't involved, still deserves a well done as we all know it's not easy, just going out is a mission. Gentle soft pat on the back to all.

Please if you know anybody with fibromyalgia, please do tell them about this website, even if you don't have it and want to know more, worth checking out either way.

Glamour And Sophistication

Tahir Sultan luxury garments, think red carpet, think photo shoots, think high end...

I notice there are a lot of drapes, circular motions, structure however still keeping that edge element to it. The garments are sexy in elegant way, showing enough skin in the right places, giving me that tease in a lady form way.

If I was fancy, or actually had lovely places to go to, in my imagination one would be driven to Central London, step out of the car, make my grand entrance and enter the building. Such a lovely thought ay?!
Do you ever look at high end clothing and start picturing where you would wear the outfit etc?
Or is that just me...

Candle Delight

Take a moment

This a candle I bought from TK Maxx for £6.99 or £5.99 one of the two, sorry I should of looked at the receipt but that's long gone I think. You know what's it like when you purse is full of crap, once and while just chuck stuff away, not the money of course oh no no, hold on to that, well until it's spent that is.

Back to the candle, affordable, love the smell it gives around my tiny flat. Long lasting, doesn't burn out quick at all, actually it's still going strong even though it has been used frequently from couple of hours, whole eve/night, a day.. So glad I purchased this, would totally recommend it.

However the downside is as I did buy it from TK Maxx which is like pick and mix of various brands, their stock is forever changing. And each shop is different. I did google this brand, and came across their website.
Hopefully you get lucky with research of where you can buy them etc.

Flower Power

Er, don't know why my forehead looks pinkish, like I've just had my eye brows threaded or plucked I assure you I haven't. Nor was that the look I was going for, any who. This is me sporting flower power, hair accessory clip that was sent to me by lovely You're Naked Without One. When putting this on, one can't help but smile, instant lift to over all outfit/look. Pop of colour, texture, character, and fun. As I naturally have thick hair it just fit's in with the volume, comfortable. However you can style this in different ways. It may look scary for some like oh I couldn't wear that, how do you know? experiment I say.

PS- I wasn't sent this item for review nor sponsored for it.
